What kind of people come to BootyCamp With Lucy?

BootyCamps are for anybody who is serious about kicking their butt into shape and starting a new health regime. You do not have to be fit to come but you must bring an open mind and be determined to succeed.

This is not a military boot-camp, you will work hard but activities are going to be fun and your instructor will be supportive and encouraging to maximise your potential.

What makes you different from other Boot Camps out there?

BootyCamp With Lucy is run by the Results With Lucy Team who have helped over 10,000 women to get fit and healthy online. In our own practices we have worked with clients from all over the world with every conceivable issue. We live and breathe health and fitness and know exactly what to do to help you reach your goals. More than that we have Lucy on board to make sure that the whole experience is fun.

I am thinking about coming on my own, will I be OK?

Absolutely, 70% of people attending fitness holidays travel alone. We know how scary that will be which is why we make sure we put you in groups with like-minded people and we assign an instructor to look after you throughout your whole stay. If you prefer to have your own room we always have single room options available.

What if I am too unfit?

There is no such thing. Everybody has to start somewhere. Our team are experts and have experience working with people of all fitness levels. All your sessions will be safe, fun and appropriate to you.

You will never be made to feel silly or incapable.

I am already fit should I still come?

If you want to learn the latest techniques, expand your existing programme and be pushed to the next level of fitness then definitely yes. Our fitness team have expertise across a wide range of disciplines and will definitely push you to achieve more.

Will it feel like torture all day?

Unlike military style boot camps, we place a big emphasis on fun. We want you to continue to exercise at home so we know it can’t be torturous otherwise we have failed. Expect to work hard but remember there is going to be lots of laughter and games. There will be plenty of time to relax and recover.

What happens if it rains or snows?

We train in all weather, the fresh air is great for your soul and you will be prepared because we will have sent you a packing list.

My friend did a boot camp and put all the weight back on?

We are passionate about helping you make changes for life. We recommend committing to and following Results With Lucy our online personal training programme at home. We have 100% confidence that you will keep off any weight you lose and more as well as toning up.


How much weight can I expect to lose?

In a week with us 7lbs to 10lbs is typical but we want you to keep it off. So the real goal is getting you to your target weight and helping you stay there once you get home. Weekend BootyCamps are the kickstart to your healthy at home regime . Expect to lose between 3lbs and 7lbs.


What if I have an illness or injury?


All retreat participants fill in a health and goals questionnaire so we will know in advance if you have any health issues or injuries.  All our instructors are very experienced and will help you to modify exercises where appropriate. We will ensure there are always options for you.


What is the BootyCamp food like?

BootyCamp food is filling, tasty and fresh. You will learn the principles of clean eating and see it applied in your meals.  


What if I am a fussy eater?

We will always do our best to accommodate you, make sure you let us know in advance and we will ensure you don’t go hungry.  


How do I get there?

We will send you detailed information on how to reach our location.  If you have any specific questions you can always email us and we are on hand to assist.


Will there be phone and wifi access?

Most of our venues have wifi and phone signal and where there is not we will let you know in advance.


Are massages available at your venues?

Our therapists offer sports and Swedish massage.  We also offer nutrition consultations which are personalised to your needs.


Is there somewhere to do my washing?

You will need to bring enough clothes to cover you for your entire stay.  Our detailed kit list will ensure you are well prepared.

Can I speak to someone before I book, I have some questions?

Of course, it is perfectly natural to have some questions, we know BootyCamp can be a little scary. Please email us in the first instance and we will call you back at a time convenient for you.

How do I book?

To book your place at BootyCamp just select the date and location you wish to attend and you will be taken to an online booking facility.  There is an option to pay in full or to secure your place with a deposit and pay later.

What happens once I have booked?

We will send you a questionnaire to find out more about your health, fitness and goals. You will also receive a welcome pack which tells you everything you need to know to have a fantastic, enjoyable experience.


What should I pack?

You will receive a full kit list in your welcome pack which will be emailed to you with 48 hours of booking.  You can also find the kit-list on the website under the 'before you go' tab. 


Can I share a room with my friend?

Of course, just let us know by email as soon as possible and we will always try to accommodate requests.
